Blue fairy wings

As my nails seem in a better condition to what they where and I've had them naked for like four WHOLE day's, i just had to paint them. So i thought i would try a look I've been meaning to do now for ages but for some reason haven't got round to, which is ombre ofcorse! And what better colour to go than blue.

To achieve this look i used Models own bloo bloo, hed kandi Balearic cool, feeling blue, Indian ocean and GOSH's ocean. All you need is about four or five shades of a colour, it doesn't have to be blue and use a cosmetic sponge to stipple each colour onto the nail. I think the key to this look is to try and fade the colours together as best as you can so it just seems to blend together. But with that said it is a really easy look to achieve and not as time consuming as i thought it might have been. A your stippling the colour on, you don't use alot of varnish and therefore it dries really fast. There is a tone of ombre nail tutorials on You Tube but here is one just as a example.

I hope you enjoy this look, is there a colour you like to use for ombre nails? Also if there's anything in particular you'd like to see just ask and I'll be happy to try x

    1. See to me i have so much more i need to get but then i suppose for a polish'aholic i will always say that lol. The ones i have are litrally what i've built up over the last few months. I adore Models own and Boots ALWAYS has some kind of offer on them... im not sure if you have a Boots :S lol but im sure you'd be able to get them off their web-site or maybe ebay?
This look is really simple to do im sure you'd do a fantastic job and a little secret...a glitter polish over the colours hides most mistakes ;) x

    2. polish'aholic...hahaha i love that. I've only just started getting into nail polish lately, but i have hardly any. And they are all cheapy brands because i'm too much of a tight-ass lol. But i love the look of models own nail polish. everybody seems to have it, but we can't get it here in Aus =( The only way to get it is online, but postage is like almost $20, so its kinda like well..i could buy a few nail polishes for that so maybe not.
I'm def gonna attempt this though.
All i think to do is one colour and thats it haha.

    5. Well if your thinking weather wise it's basically always raining here lol I live in devon by the sea side :D i would say im about a good six hours away which isn't too bad. Who are you coming over with? I haven't been to london in years but i really want to go up to do some shopping. But im such a rubbish saver so my london funds are currently nil lol.
Yeah Topshop is pricey im not really a Topshop girl so i hardly ever shop there. Maybe that's Englands way of making up to the shitty weather we always get haha, you get the sunshine and we get the shops lol x
