Barry M: New Textured Nail Paint

Hello lovelies, hope your all well and having a lovely day. So i have another nail post for you today this time on the two new textured nail paints by Barry M that i got for my birthday.
Please excuse the chip in the photo I should of taken a photo when i first applied them instead of after a fer days of wear. If your into your nails you will probably be very awear that textured nails seem to be popping up quite a bit lately, and these are two from Barry M's new addition. This leaves what i would call like a rough concrete appearance, it gives grunge chick nails but in lovely pastel colours. I picked my two favourite shades Ridley road which is a beautiful mint green and Kingsland road which is a pretty baby pastel pink.

I applied three coats to ensure complete streak free coverage, like most Barry M polishes i really like the formula and find it dries quite quickly. Now many would probably already realise this but you can't apply a top coat with this as it gets rid of the textured effect, yes i did try and as soon as i put it on one nail i realised how much of a fool i was. But even without a top coat i found it lasted rather well as i had it on for a few days before it chipped on both index fingers. Normally I'm not a massive fan of textured nails as they just annoy me but this didn't bother me at all. It was also surprisingly very easy to remove as well, which is a massive plus point for me.

I picked these up from Boots but you can also pick up Barry M polishes from Superdrug or from their website, these textured nail paint are £3.99 each and also come in yellow and blue. Have you tried these polishes out yet, are you a textured nail fan? Thank you for reading, have a wonderful day and i shall see you all again soon x

  8. I picked up Kingsland road last week and can't make up my mind if I like it. It just seems 'unnatural' to have your nails feeling bumpy rather than smooth. lol. I used a top coat over mine and it was fine, it didn't change the texture at all. x

    1. Hmm maybe my top coats a little too thick for it then. I'm like that with other texture nails, especially flocking powder x
