Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

Hello lovelies, hope your all having a great week. So today i have another product that I've been meaning to review for such a long time, at least i don't think I've reviewed this yet haha.
I'll start as always with the packaging, it comes in a little box as you also get a brush, which i think is brilliant as not everyone has a brush they can use straight away for gel eyeliner. The gel eyeliner itself comes in a cute little chunky clouded glass pot, I really love how this looks there's something about it that gives off a chic vibe. The brush is just a fairly short handled eyeliner brush, which i find works rather well and is considerably good for the price.
I was drawn to this as i wanted to try something that i could easily work with to create a winged eyeliner, i will admit i find this really difficult and not a talent i yet hold. I used to wear a gel liner back when i was a teenager, when i wore a bit too much in my waterline and i used to hang around a skate park haha. So thought i may find this easier to use than my liquid and felt eyeliners. I do find this gel easy to work with however i would like to get a small angled brush so i could get a better sharp wing.

As for the actual gel liner i find it really does live up to the name it was given of 'intense black' as it really is black. I find it pretty easy to apply as it's nice and creamy and glides well, so you don't find that your dragging your eyelid when your trying to get a nice line. I have also found that it doesn't budge and stays nicely in place all day.

I certainly think if like me you don't find wings so easy or you just like a gel eyeliner, that this one is certainly worth the money. I love using this over a felt tip liner now and love how you don't need a lot to get a nice even dark black line. This retails at £7.99 and as i say it includes a brush so i defiantly see it as a worth while purchase and will happily buy it again. Have you tried this gel liner yet? Thank you for reading, hope you have a wonderful day and i shall see you all again soon x

  5. Your eye make up looks so good here! I think we've all been guilty of wearing a big too much eyeliner when we were younger haha, yes I wanted to be avril lavigne! I've never tried a gel liner before but I keep reading so many things about them being really good and this one sounds quite a good place to start as its fairly inexpensive :) have you experienced it drying up at all? Heard that can be a problem xx

    1. Thank you I've done a post on it already, it was my neutral valentines look if your interested in what i used. Haha i'm glad i wasn't the only one. I actually haven't, i find it dries a little so it's not quite as creamy as when it's in the pot and isn't really easy to smudge all over the place. Yet it still stays somewhat creamy so it doesn't dry up and crack and get all nasty, if that makes any sense haha. I certainly think it's a good starter kit for those who wish to try a gel liner xx
