Make-Up Look // Two Faced Skull

Hello lovelies, hope your all having a wonderful week. A few of you may already know (more so if you follow me on twitter) that I'm a little bit of a geek and I'm obsessed with special effects/theatrical make-up. I am dying to get me hands on the materials to come up with horror like make-up looks like a Chelsea smile or some beat up old decaying zombie but sadly my budget currently is stopping me from doing that. However that never stops me looking and yesterday i come across a super cool website called Nimba creations, and whilst watching their videos i was feeling creative so decided to draw a skull on my face....as you do haha.
I've been drawing skulls in my sketch book for years and have a pacific reference photo i always seem to go to so using old faithful i used a white MUA eyeliner to map out the features. I found it actually quite easy knowing where to place certain shadows as you can pretty much feel around your own bone structure to map it out. I then used my Collection 2000 extreme felt eyeliner in black to fill in the parts which where completely in shadow (so would be at their darkest), i didn't use it for all the markings as i didn't want it to be all block colour. For the rest and to get rid of the shine of the liner i used the black shadow from my Crown brush 88 palette and blended the colour accordingly. To finish i then filled in the teeth with the MUA white eyeliner and blended it out on certain parts of the face and used the black liner to fill in both water lines. And as you can see for the other half i just pretty much did my make-up as normal with a nice bold red lip.
I must admit for my first ever attempt of doing a skull in make-up and only using what i already had I'm really happy with how it turned out. Do you enjoy special effects make-up, if so what would you most like to make yourself up as? X
