Review // Topshop Glow Polished

Hello lovelies, hope your all having a wonderful day. Today I'm sharing my thoughts on a cream highlighter that I've been meaning to share for a very long time.
Topshop Glow Cream Highlight - Polished £9

I've always used powder highlighters like my MAC soft and gentle that i can never seem to put down but i wanted something a little softer and would give a more seamless natural glow and when i swatched it this seemed to fit the bill. The texture is so creamy and light, it makes it a dream to blend in and your able to have it as sheer as you want which works brilliant for "no make-up" days.

It has a lovely pale champagne colour with a gold shimmer that is extremely pigmented so a little really does go a long way. Because it's so pigmented it may look a little daunting when first applied but once blended out the colour becomes a lot more subtle and natural with a nice dewy finish. I love to use this on the top of my cheek bones to make them more prominent, i also like to apply a little bit on my brow bone too but you can use it for wherever you'd like to highlight.

This is a wonderful affordable highlighter that can be used for both day and night looks as it's so buildable. Do you like creme highlighters? X

  5. I've never tried highlighters full stop, but I have a real problem blending creamy products over my face so I;m not too sure if a creamy highlighter would be the way to go for me! Was it easy to blend over foundation?

    1. I'll do my foundation as normal and then before applying any powder i'll take a little bit of this and use my fingers to blend it out along my cheek bone. I find this really easy to blend out with my fingers and it leaves a nice smooth finish. Maybe pop in to Topshop and swatch it to see how it works for you, let me know if you do :) x
