Lush Catastrophe cosmetic face mask

Lush catastrophe cosmetic fresh face mask £7.25 (shop here)

There's a million factors that contribute to not so great skin, the environment. makeup, hormones, stress and these are just a few. Unless you are extremely blessed with amazing skin 24/7 (sadly i am not) at some point your going to need a little boost to make your skin happy again. I have been reaching for this mask for at least 3 years now and i am so thankful for the day i came across it and decided to give it a whirl.

Packed with blueberries, chamomile, rose and almond oil this mask is full of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to help soothe and calm the skin. Exactly why i love it for that time of the month as for me that's when i can guarantee my skin will have a little bit of a freak out. I will slather a generous amount all over my face and leave on until it completely dries. As this is a clay mask when it's dry i cheat a little to get it off by standing over a sink making funny facial expressions so the majority cracks and falls off. I will then rinse the remaining product off and my skin instantly looks in better condition, softer and my pores are less visible. Even if my skin isn't too bad i like to use this mask in preparation to any special event as my foundation applies and looks so much better.

As this is a fresh face mask it does need to be kept in the fridge and doesn't have a long shelf life as others might have but i still always get several uses out of mine and have never had one go off. I do love Lush's fresh face mask range and have used a few but this one has to be my holy grail go to and one you'll always see in my fridge.
